What are the instructions for a Mazda MX5 soft top installation?

You need common hand tools. remove the carpet and remove the 10mm bolt that attach at the back. Unscrew various screws the hold top to the frame. unbolt the tension cable lastly. Reverse for the new top install. Take care to make sure it doesn't leak ( I used the hose for this). adjust as needed.

Ok first after you have received the soft top you must take any molding that is near the top and remove the top and replace the top just like removal.
