West nile symptoms include fever, lethary, and weakness. If your dog has been having these symptoms for the past few weeks, your best bet would be to bring it into your local vet.

West nile in dogs presents symptoms similar to a flu, such as lethargy, temperature and sometimes a rash. The symptoms only tend to last a few days before they start to clear up. As your dog has been sick to a few weeks,I would strongly recommend speaking with a vet.

Many dogs that become affected with the west nile virus don't show any symptoms or become sick. They may just carry the virus. Some dogs, though, may show sypmtoms. They can include fever, weakness, muscle spasms, circling, head tilting, loss of appetite, trouble walking, or personality changes. If a dog shows these symptoms,a veterinarian should be contacted.

If your dog has been sick that long he should have been to the Vet A LONG TIME AGO. That's not good. If you suspect your dog has West Nile get him to the Vet right away because West Nile can kill in a matter of hours or days.
