It could be mononucleosis. It also depends which lymph nodes are swollen. If the nodes in your neck are swollen you could have the mumps, strep throat or even an infected tooth. There are many things which cause lymph nodes to well, that is why you should consult a doctor.

You would be generally looking at some sort of systemic infection at this point. Drink plenty of fluids and consult your primary care physician asap. These are signs that your body is already fighting an infection somewhere. You may want to consider antibiotics.

Swollen lymph nodes is usually a sign of infection in the body and the presence of fever is a sign that your body is fighting the infection. One should see their doctor to know what infection you have. It might be flu or other infection.

You should get checked by your doctor because it sounds like you have an infection. Although most times it is not critical, sometimes this could be a blood infection and you could turn into a whole body infection of the blood known as Sepsis. Time is of the essence and you should not wait.

Swollen lymph nodes and low grade fever signal an infection in the body. If you are really healthy, you can probably beat it. Otherwise, you need to see a doctor

The lymph system helps filter infection from the body. Swollen lymph nodes indicate an infection, as does the low-grade fever, which is often more serious than a high temperature. If your symptoms don't improve, or if they worsen, over 24 hours or so, see your doctor.

The most likely cause is you have an infection and your body is fighting it off. Go to your doctor if it persists for another 3 days without improvment.

You will need to see your doctor for a definate diagnosis. Some common causes though are, strep throat, tonsilitis, the flu, or another viral infection. At times even and infected ear can cause the lymphs to swell. On more rare case it can be an indication of some type of cancer.
