What are the rules about a teacher with inappropriate contact and student dating?

Although most schools don't have any specific rules forbidding contact with teachers and students dating it still should be approached with caution. If something happens to the relationship the teacher can be accused of sexual harassment especially if the student is in his class and gets a bad grade. Although other students may accuse the teacher of favoritism.

Written rules may vary, however the unwritten rule is quite clear. Teachers and students dating or romantically or sexually interacting on any level is wrong and punishable on many levels.

The rules depend on the company and situation, but usually you need to stay away totally from students if you are a teacher.
