There are quite a few sources for free wi-fi. Try libraries, college campuses, coffee shops, and even fast food restaurants. Support your source and buy from them if you can!

If you have a laptop with builtin wireless you can get internet access by finding a place with a wireless hub. Such places can be found in coffee shops, shopping centers and the like. Or if you live in an apartment building use the wireless utility to scan for networks.

Well the easiest is just to go around you town looking for free wifi hot spots or open network. As long as they are not protected then you can hope right onto them. Otherwise the network has to be hacked which is harder than finding another free network.

The only possible ways are hope that your neighbors don't have a password on their wireless network, or going to a store location that offers wireless connection to their customers for free without needing a password. Otherwise, you will have to pay just like everyone else does. Don't worry though, internet fees will probably go down in a few years.

The best possible way to get free Wifi is to go coffee shops, libraries, hotels, etc. had connect to the network that they have provided. For most, you can just connect and surf, but some require a code that you must get from the providing establishment.
