What could be the cause of limited connection for my internet connection.

Limited connections often occur when your wireless connection to your home network is good, but your connection to the outside of your network (the Internet) is bad. Try resetting your modem by unplugging it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and reboot your computer. If this doesn't solve your issue, contact your Internet Service Provider.

The cause of my limited internet connection is due to technical and memory fault. Here,the technical is due to wireless modem problem or loose connections.

You could have a bad pc network card or a bad wireless router. You could try resetting the router - remove the power for 30 seconds and plug it back in. Depending on the distance between your pc and router, that may be contributing as well.

One reason could be because you are behind a firewall. Another possibility is that you are using a proxy and there is a problem identifying your IP address.

The signal could be weak so it says that. You can run a network diagnostic or reset the router to see if it solves the problem. Sometimes, people can also get this if they typed in the WEP key wrong. There could also be a problem with your network adapter, which you can disable and re-enable.

I can't get a remove box in add remove programs and all other methods have failed for some reason or another. MY system restore was wiped from the virus and I don't have my restore disks.
