I think that first of the must-see tourist sites in Paris is of course Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe(Triumphal Gate), and Champs Elysees. Of course there are many more atractions in Paris...
An hour & 1/2 by train outside Paris is city of Rouen (near Normandy beaches.) It's where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake. Fascinating city--try to spend minimum two days. Charming, quaint, historic, amazing architecture, narrow little streets with shopping and cafes. This city has it all.
In Paris, you must see the Eiffel Tower. Take the tour to the top and you will not regret it. Another must-see is the Sacre Coeur. It's a beautiful church!
There are lot's of popular sites to see like 1. Arc de Triomphe

The Louvre -it has many sculputures and paintings there and the place looks really cool. The Eiffel Tower -u can see really high up from there. That's about it, thank you.
The Eiffel tower is a must. The Arc of the Triumph, the Towers of Norte Dame and the Louvre museum are most interesting. Sometimes it's best to take bus tours as they hit all of the highlights especially when your time is limited. You want to save time to shop!.
