No comparison really, other than they are both women. It stops right there. Joan Rivers is funny, hard working comedienne. Paris Hilton on the other hand is a pretty girl born into wealth.

Paris Hilton is no Joan Rivers. Joan is a legitimate comedian with a long line of work experience. Paris is a socialite and not much more.

Joan Rivers had a successful career as a stand-up comic in 70's and 80's. Arguably she was a trailblazer for a lot of women comics who came later. In order to become the Joan Rivers of her generation, Paris Hilton would actually have to accomplish something, even a small thing.
