Syntax errors are errors in the code that make up the program. Try reinstalling IE and disabling any addons you have enabled.

Well you need to fix your Internet Explorer becuase there might be some java settings are disturbed. You can access it through you desktop>IE>Properties>AdvancedTav>Reset Defaults. See if this works for you if not then put your windows xp cd and type this command in run sfc /scannow ok.

Check your computer for spyware or other malware. Try the System Restore feature to go back to a date when Internet Explorer was working. Start using Firefox instead.
