Some benefits for organized religion are: Encourage one another Meet each other's needs Fellowship Some disadvantages: Organized religions and churches are made up of people-all of which are flawed in need of grace Sometimes the leaders go astray Can get in way of communicating and serving God

The Primary benifit is its approach to looking out for the well being of others. The Primary downside is that dogma refuses access to those with a differing understanding.
