They are small benign tumors in the thoracic levels of the spine that can cause pain and damage to the spine. They are non cancerous and can compress vital organs.

These are fairly common and usually not very serious blood vessel grows. The T1 and T2 just refer to the spot on the spine where these growths were discovered, they are usually harmless.

Hemangiomas are abnormal development of the blood vessels that has occured since birth and tends to grow slowly. It is usually non-complicated if it occurs in non vital parts. A T1, T2 lesion basically means that the hemangioma is at the level of the first and second thoracic vertebra.
