Why are the Victoria Secret shops in the malls getting smaller?

Victoria Secret shops are getting smaller because their online business is expanding. The online store carries many styles and brands of clothing, shoes, accessories, makeup, etc, that the mall stores cannot carry. There are more size varities and sometimes better deals. This would go a long ways to explaining why their mall stores are reducing in size.

Victoria Secret shops are getting smaller because of the economy. They expanded their shops during the boom period. Now that the market has crashed and people aren't spending money, Victoria Secret isn't making money. Since they aren't making money, they can't afford the rent on the large stores.

I am not positive but mabe the company is down sizing due to the economy or mabe they are just focusing on the important easy turnover products they sell.

Their mall stores may be getting smaller as their online stores become more popular, particularly since men are more likely to make purchases for their wive/girlfriends online.

Simple economic reason.. lots of product and not enough buyers.. due to the recession, many people can't afford to drop money on lingerie and other luxury products, so because of this the shops are getting smaller
