Severe abdominal pain, swelling of the abdomen, unable to have a bowel movement, usually vomiting because food is unable to pass through the intestines. The pain will appear as spasms and come and go as the pain worsens. This condition may require surgery if the obstruction is large. Can be fatal if not treated promptly.

Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, very liquid stool, swollen stomach, hard stomach. All of these symptoms can also be seen in a lot of other conditions. If you are having any of these symptoms, you should see a doctor as soon as possible. You can not fix a bowel obstruction with laxatives and you could make other conditions worse.
