Does pregnancy cause Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

I am seven months and a lot of symptoms.

No, pregnancy doesn't cause IBS. The baby is pushing all your internal organs around as it grows. This is a good thing. You might try eating smaller meals and drinking a little more water. Just give it a little more time and it will get better. Of course, if you're having lots of problems you should check with your Doctor.

Pregnancy can have some effects on IBS if you have it already. Also, women are known to have constipation for long periods while they are pregnant. The constipation is cause by increase in hormones that can make you metabolism slow down. Irritable bowel syndrome is not known to be caused by pregnancy though.
