What could be wrong with me if I have back pain associated with bowel movements?

The most common cause of back pain that is associated with bowel movements is Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). However, there are other conditions such as Chrohn's disease, internal hemmorhoids or even from an actual problem with the back itself such as Sciatica. It is best to be evaluated by a Gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment.

There is nothing wrong with you other than that you can have a digestive problem and your back is too weak. Try yoga and go to the doctor.

back pain may be caused by poor diet regarding low fiber consumption which leads to decreased peristalses of foods that are not digested. the back pain may be a sign for indigestion or constipation.

If you eat fat, or little magnesium, or dietary problems,gas and bowel movements will change. Infections and antibiotic can also do. Ulcerated Colitis, worsen abdominal pain and rectal bleeding.

There could be something wrong with your kidneys or your bowel if you are having back pain with bowel movements.

The back pain, before or during bowel movements are associated with various reasons or causes such as constipation, facet syndrome, disc herniations, vertibral misalignment, degenerative arthritis. Often sprains of lower back due to physical activity or imbalanced posture can cause back paid during bowel movements. Benign or malignant tumor in any internal organ can also cause such back pain.

Back pain when having bowel movements could either be from irritable bowel syndrome or you may have a problem with your kidneys. This could be an infection or something much more serious. Tell a doctor your symptoms and get a check up soon.
