How often should a cat have a bowel movement?

I don't think my cat has used the bathroom in two days. How often is normal for a cat to have a bowel movement?

If you don't think your cat has had a bowel movement in a while, then she is probably just doing it behind your back. If you have changed litter, changed the location of the box or something in the house has generally changed, she may just be upset and pooping in your shoes.

On average, once a day or so. I have 15 cats. That seems to be the average for the cats that i have.
