Some cities in Utah have very cheap cigarettes down to about $3. 50 per pack as of Dec '09, The average price of a pack of cigarettes across the country is about $3. 80 per pack so Utah is pretty cheap, every state has different tax amounts they charge in addition to the base price of cigarettes.

You could go around looking for the cheapest cigarette prices but you will pay a price. Packs of cigarettes have the state you bought them in stamped on the bottom. In most cases it's illegal to transport them across state lines.

I believe Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina are the states. The taxes are also pretty cheap. Stop smoking! It is no good!

The best place to buy cheap cigarettes is in the south. North Carolina and South Carolina have many discount cigarette outlets with low prices.

Cigarettes are cheapest in the state of South Carolina. On march 27, 2009 state taxes were only 7 cents per pack. Missouri is second with $. 17 per pack. The least to most is mississippi, virginia, Florida and North Carolina. the average cost of a pack of cigarettes with all retail and tax increased included was $4. 82.
