What are some physical exercises to increase swing speeds?

I'm guessing you mean punch swings. Since punches use your lat muscles (upper back), pull ups, chin ups, rows, lat pull downs. Anything that basically works your upper back muscles will help. Practice doing as many as you can as fast as you can and you should start to see results soon.

In order to increase swing speeds such as a baseball bat swing, you can start by using a weighted bat before performing in a game to make the bat feel lighter once the weight is taken off. Another exercise is in the weight room which is a power clean. This will increase explosiveness and core strength.

I have found that picking up the kettle bell will increase all speed and strength. The bell will increase you leg strength which will in turn increase you swing speed.

Holding some small hand weights and then punching will help make you swing faster. You can also try swinging far from your body and that helps increase speed. Another thing that will help is a speed bag, because it makes you go into rhythm of punching fast, it is probably the best.

To increase your swing speed, the best exercise to is is to work on building up strength in your upper arms and your wrists. By having stronger wrists, you will be able to speed up your swing for tight, inside pitches. Also abdominal exercises will help you turn your upper body to catch up with the pitch.

Basic strength workout in the gym will help a great deal. Concentrate on forearm exercises, and do curls and tricep extensions. Do lots of crunches for the abs as well.
