You could work in the NICU - neonatal intensive care unit: NICU nurse (practitioner) NICU therapist - respiratory, occupational, physical NICU social worker NICU nutritionist Neonatologist Clinical pharmacist

Becoming an RN is probably your best bet. Other people who work with newborns in the hospital are MDs, IBCLCs and CNAs.

Some careers are nutrition, breastfeeding help, bathing help. Sick newborns in particular need specialized care. Visiting nurses for babies are needed.

Doctor, nurse, neonatal equipment operator, respiratory therapist, obstetric nurse, neonatal nurse, physician assistant, lab technician (to a lesser degree), candy striper.
