Basically you first need to find out what type of stones they are. The most common are clacium oxalate, which are not caused by too much calcium, rather to much oxlate. DO not cut down on calcium, avoid high oxalate foods like meat, tea and chocolate. Drink plenty of water.

It's hard to believe anyone suffering the intense pain of a kidney stone would insist on a home remedy. But if you must, try cranberry juice (to flush out the stones) and potassium (which can correct some chemical imbalances).
