Some simple plastic canvas patterns are easy if an adult cuts out the pattern. Some are just a basic square and should be easy to follow. There are knitting looms that are very easy to use with some leftover yarn. Stuffed balls for cats and dogs are easy. Paper crafts are good. Do some research for easy patters.

Take 2 sheets of waxed paper, old crayons, and a potato peeler. Use the peeler to shred crayons onto the wax paper, cover with the other sheet, iron (stained glass)
