If you do not want the maze to be hard, come up with a simple plan. Do not include to many options when it comes to wrong turns. Maybe you can offer a max of 3 or four wrong turns in the maze. Maybe even give clues or hints as to the right way to go.

A great idea for an outdoor maze is to take old refrigerator boxes (you can ask businesses if they have extra).
