One major problem is the braking system. Drums and pads need frequent replacement. The back tailgate needs the open mechanism replaced. The air conditioning system develops frequent leaks. The leather seats often split neat the seams. The front end 4 wheel system needs to be rebuilt before you hit 80,000 miles.

Some common problems with all jeeps are the electrical systems and transmissions. I am not saying that you are going to have these problems but my mom bought a jeep and she had transmission problems. My wife got one and had electrical problems. Some are built Monday and some Friday.
