What are some baby shower cake ideas?

Of course you could do a baby, but I think something like a crib or cradle is a great idea, but it could be a little expensive since the shape is strange.

Belly shaped cake, two-tiered cake with nursery decorations and a baby on the bottom tier just like a crib, bubble bath with ducks cake, a pregnant lady silhouette on the cake, building blocks cake, a onsie shaped, stroller shaped cake.

My favorite I ever saw was a pair of pink booties cake. I also liked the baby bottle cake and pacifer cake.

Having something simple that just says "welcome to the world" or something is sufficient, but if you want designs then anything with baby bottles, rattles, storks or anything else is nice. Or, you can be more original and choose something that you like. For example, if you like butterflies and knwo you're having a girl, get a butterfly cake.

Some good baby shower cake ideas would be to include some baby booties on the cake with decorative frosting of the color of the sex of the baby.
