Maggots are the young larvae of flies. They are hatched from eggs and wiggle around feeding on decayed rotting food and material. They gestate in this form for a few days to a week and then molt, shredding the maggot skin for the winged fly underneath. Filthy and disgusting creatures.

Maggots are the larva or baby for of flies. Rotting flesh is actually a prefered spot for a fly to lay its eggs so the maggots have food to survive.
