I would associate maggots with death. Maybe you are afraid of your own death. Maybe it is just day to day anxiety that manifests itself in your dreams. I associate maggots and snakes with death. I hope these dreams go away for you.

Most of the time that does not mean anything. You must be thinking about maggots when you go to sleep. Try taking a bath and eating warm oatmeal before going to bed.

I dreamt of a stranger standing in front of me and vomitting maggots ..... I held my hand out ........and it was spilling all over .....

I like to think dreaming of maggots is a positive thing .....they are known to be placed on a injury on the body to rid of dying infectious skin ,to help get rid of bad tissue so with that ,I think the maggots are cleansing you of all negativity :-)
