Question by  tsoucia (8)

What does it mean that my child's sed rate is twice the amount?

Should I worry?

Answer by  Brittney (1095)

The sed test is a blood test to see how many red blood cells fall to the bottom of a tube within a period of time. It is normally within an hour. If your child's rate was twice the amount I would tlak to your doctor. This could mean that he has inflammation or he could be anemic.

A high sed rate means the inflammatory response of your child's immune system is too high. Your doctor will probably need more tests/information to diagnose if there is a problem.

The price what my child said is two times higher in side when compared with what you have said previously. no other way other than worrying or have to buy the same.
