No there is nothing wrong with a dog licking a child. To a dog licking someone means they like you. If the dog licks too much and maybe bites them well you then have problem and should take it to a vet. Dont punish the dog for licking your child,its normal. But make sure the child washes after

it is ok,if a child is not developing any allergic reactions to dogs saliva. dog has to be taken to a veternary doc for regular checkups.

People can get worms from dogs. It may cause deseases to childrens. Try to avoid letting the dog lick childrens face and hands.

It is perfectly natural for a dog to lick humans, and for children to let it happen. If it's your pet and updated on it's vaccinations, don't worry. If it's a stray or dirty dog, I would stay away, as they may carry germs and bacteria unknown to your child.
