Should jeans be banned for girls?

The only arguments I've ever heard for females not wearing jeans are purely religious. Since most governments are secular, there is no legal justification for a ban. Some private organizations require women to wear only skirts or dresses, however, in order to promote their particular morals or social views.

Some girls wear very tight or low-fitting jeans. This attire could be banned in a school system if the rule is stated. On the other hand, jeans can be comfortable and are practical for some jobs. Girls should be allowed to wear jeans unless the particular 'system' bans them.
