Make sure that you are pressing each key hard enough to assert proper pressure on the keys. Believe me sometime this is all it takes. If that fails, use your key for entry until you have ample time to bring the car to a licensed dealer or repair shop in order to receive a proper diagnosis.

It is best to take the car to your local delearship, such as a ford dealer nearby. You should be covered under the manufacturers waranty, or inquire a small fee.

You should take your car into the ford dealership. If the car is under warranty they should fix it, free of charge. If not, there may be a small fee.

If the keyless entry system doenst work with the code, then there might be a malfuntion in the alarm or code system that is programmed in the vehicle. Since the pad is located on the exterior of the vehicle it could be damged by other vehicle or by physical force.
