To reset the keyless entry of a Ford Freestyle, try entering the last 5 digits of your vehicle's serial number. If that doesn't work, you can also try entering 91111. If neither of these work, you will need to contact your local Ford dealer in order to get them to reset the keyless entry for you.

For 2001-2006 models, one of the easiest ways is to either try the last 5 digits of the serial number. If that doesn't work, some suggest using 91111. How-to videos for locating the reset codes are available online at YouTube and other sites. You could also call your local Ford dealer for info.

Resetting most automatic lock systems is done by the manufacturer. Often times the only thing wrong with these units is that they have run low on batteries often a new set will get things working.

Close the door. Put the key in the ignition, and turn it on (but dont start the car). Turn it off again. Repeat this three times. When the doors lock then unlock, press the button on the keyless entry fob.

There should be a code that can reset it. Not knowing the year I can't say where the code is. You might need a dealer to reset it.

Check with the owner manual to see how to reset the keyless entry. If you cannot reset this on your own you can always take it back to the dealership you purchased it at. If that doesn't work take the car to your mechanic as they will be able to fix it.
