My caller id says unknown caller, how can I find out who it is?

You can't, short of having a trace put on the line by your phone company. An "unknown caller" is one who has specifically chosen to have their number blocked from caller ID. If the calls are recurring and criminal (harassment, death threats, etc. ) the police can help you get a trace on the line. Otherwise, there's nothing you can do.

You cannot tell who the caller through your caller id. You could try to enter the number into an internet search engine like Google but it might not work.

You could call the phone company or the police and ask them to trace the source of the call, but the police would be unwilling unless you had just cause.

contact your carrier and see if there is a number linked to the unknown name thats calling you, provide them with the time and dates of the call , check your bill if you recive a detailed bill it should give you all the numbers that have called

If your caller ID says unknown than there is no way to find out who it is. They number won't show up in your call records either.
