All grasshoppers have wings and can fly. They only fly in short bursts, so most people don't realize that they are able to fly.

Of course! Not all can fly, but some of the larger grasshoppers capable of flying are a particular headache to farmers and gardeners. Just when you think you've eliminated those that are pests, in flies another.

Hell yeah they fly!!!! And it's scary as shit! First time I seen one fly was when I visited Wichita, KS.
