What can I do to get rid of these hundreds of flying things on my wall?

Those are probably Mayflies. They hatch in the warmth of spring, and live 24 hours before dying. Their goal is to mate before they die, but they are attracted to light and therefore accumulate indoors at night. The good new is they don't bite and die soon. Fetch the vacuum!

They could be a type of ichneumon wasp, or even something as simple as silverfish. Without a picture or even a size, it's hard to know what it is. If it were me, I'd call an exterminator and ask them to spray. They'll be able to tell what it is and how to get rid of it.
