Getting different readings doesn't necessarily indicate inaccuracy. Your blood pressure will naturally vary from hour to hour, depending on a variety of factors, including your anxiety level, stress level, what activities you have been doing, etc. Of course there are times when human error affects the reading, but you shouldn't be too alarmed if you get a range of readings.

Going to the doctor is the best way to get the most accurate blood pressure reading. Since doctors offices do the blood pressure checks manually, that is the best option.

No blood pressure test is foolproof – your reading can vary according to what you'd been doing before, the time of day, or even what you'd had to eat!

At times you may be using a defective blood pressure cuff. Typically, at different times or due to nervousness or activity, readings can vary greatly. Nothing is foolproof.

If you get different readings at different places, they could all be correct. Depending on your mood that day and time and how much you had to walk to get there. You can get your blood pressure checked at your doctors office for free if you are having problems.

Blood pressure is best read with a cuff and stethoscope by a trained individual. Blood pressure will change based on many factors. The body's position will dictate blood pressure, blood has to be pumped against gravity when standing, but not while lying down which will give a lower blood pressure. Diet and salt will also affect blood pressure.
