Is the Cosco Omega car seat safe?

There have been two recalls on these car seats. One in August, 2003 for the tether and another in August, 2007 for the harness. Based on this, it would appear that any Cosco Omega car seat manufactured after 2007 can be considered safe for you to use. You should always search for recalls on any car seat you consider buying.

Your local fire station can check out your specific seat for you. Different batches of seats may be recalled, even within one seat type.
