No. Pregnancy is usually completely covered by Medicaid and is not a reason for Medicaid to reject your claim. There is a special program in Medicaid for pregnancy called Sobra.

Medicaid covers pregnancy regardless of when you became pregnant. This assumes, of course,that you meet the income guidelines for receiving medicaid benefits. Medicaid will also cover your child for the first year after birth.

Pregnancy should not be considered a preexisting condition. There are also other programs that help with costs. Such programs can be found at a local health care clinic.

Medicaid is federally-funded & STATE-MANAGED health-care for low-income-recipients, so it depends on your state's regulations. Besides the "low-income" requirement; generally, pregnancy is one of several possible Medicaid-eligibility-requirements. "Pregnancy" can be a pre-existing condition which is COVERED by Medicaid; pre-existing conditions like pregnancy are EXCLUDED from most other health-coverage/insurance plans.

Maybe. but for the most part it will take in women who are already pregnant. it provides assistance to low income families and individuals.
