Does Florida medicaid pay for transportation?

I have to have weekly treatments and want to know if medicaid will pay for my transportation to get to and from the place I receive treatment.

No, but if you are disabled or are going to a social worker they can get you transportation for your treatment. Check with the hospital social worker or your social worker where you applied for medicaid.

This is covered under the reform health plan. Which does cover transportation to and from the place you receive treatment. You do need to sign up for the medicare health reform plan. The reason for this is not everyone is required to sign up. To be sure you are covered, is to make sure you are signed up.

As with all medicaid treatments I think there are many factors they use in determining that, there are pro-bona lawyers who will look into your qualification for you at centers for the aging, or other charities that would with insurance. Look them up online or in phone book or ask a clergy for a recommendation.

Medicaid clients in Florida will need to contact the community transportation coordinator (CTC) because eligibility is determined by CTC or the regional Medicaid office.
