No the pineapple is not considered a citrus fruit. They belong to two totally different family fruit groups. A citrus fruit bear fruits that are grown from their branches, while the pineapple is actually grown on the stem of the plant. They can be easily mistaken but that is the difference between them.

No, a pineapple is not a citrus fruit. It does not contain citric acid and is technically a vegetable because it does not have seeds. Any edible plant with seeds is considered a fruit, whereas any edible plant without seeds (with the exception of seedless fruits), is considered a vegetable.
