Make sure the tree planter you put it in is big enough and do not over water it and it should do well for more info try doing a net search on it.

You need to talk to your local nursery/plant provider and your county extension agent. These people will be able to tell you the climate zone you live in and what plants will thrive. The nursery (or wherever you choose to purchase your plant) can provide you with the knowledge you need to make your plant grow.
