Cut the top off a fresh pineapple, peel off the bottom few leaves and leave in water until it sprouts roots. Plant in potting soil, keep above 75 degrees.

You can grow them out in your garden but it all depends on where you live and how cold it is.

Take a whole pineapple and cut off the top with the leaves which will be the planting material. Put it in a basin with water. When with roots, transplant it.

Placing the top of a pineapple you are eating at home in the ground is probably the easiest and most successful way to go when growing a pineapple. When finding a spot for this make sure you have plenty of room, This plant can spread up to five feet across.
