Southwestern is a very broad category, but if you mean American Indian,or Native American jewelry, there isn't any unusual problem.Much of it is made of sterling silver ,turquoise and coral, and the artists often sign their work because they stand by their creation.

If you do a little research, yes, you can find a quality vendor that sells South Western jewelry. If it is made well, it will not fall apart.

Like anything else, quality is determined by the manufacturer. Test each piece, try out the clasp, ask others who may have bought some, check online and try buying an inexpensive piece as a trial.

I think it will worth to buy a South Western jewelry. But we should be carefull when choosing this jewelry.Quality is important and also provider should be trustable. Check the product carefully and if it is possible try to get several options (different colors, sizes, metarials etc.) and don't pay too much money.

Yes, Southwestern jewelery is beautiful and ususally reflects the culture of the person who made it. Most of the jewelery I buy comes right from the artisan.

Low quality jewelry of any type would fall apart. South Western jewelry is typically hand crafted and does require a deal of care in handling. If you find a piece you like, just take care of it as you would any other fine jewelry.
