Southwestern is a very broad category,but if you mean American Indian,or Native American jewelry,there isn't any unusual problem.Much of it is made of sterling silver ,turquoise and coral,and the artists often sign their work because they stand by their creation.

I think it will worth to buy a South Western jewelry. But we should be carefull when choosing this jewelry.Quality is important and also provider should be trustable. Check the product carefully and if it is possible try to get several options (different colors, sizes, metarials etc.) and don't pay too much money.

Yes, Southwestern jewelery is beautiful and ususally reflects the culture of the person who made it. Most of the jewelery I buy comes right from the artisan.
