Abdominal cramping can be normal during pregnancy, but it may also be a cause for concern. It is best to see your doctor to rule out such things as preterm labor, UTI, or miscarriage. Conversely, cramps can mean something as simple as the uterus growing and stretching to accomodate the growing fetus.

I can be, but it can also be a sign of a problem. You should call your doctor as soon as possible.

Cramping can be normal. Most likely it is the result of the uterus stretching to accommodate your growing baby. Depending on how far along you are, it may also be Braxton-Hicks contractions (kind of like practice contractions). If you are worried, I would ask your doctor.

It just depends on how bad and where they are at. I would call your doctor and tell them that you are having cramps just to be safe.
