The United Staes Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning to consumer to stop using these products. According to the Food and Drug Administration, Hydroxycut has been linked with 23 cases of liver damage including one death.

Yes hydroxycut is safe. It is sold in just about all stores. Hydroxycut is just a diet supplement that helps you lose weight by supressing your appetite. If it was not safe then I do not think that it would be approved to be sold in walmart, cvs, rite aid, ect...

You should contact your physician before attempting to use Hydroxycut because this product does run the possibility of worsening health problems such as anxiety issues, heart problems, or glaucoma. You should also inform your physician if you are breastfeeding or are pregnant, as they may have special instructions for these circumstances.

Hydroxycut is a stimulant and contains caffiene. It might make your heart race, increase your blood pressure and increase anxiety. It also can worsen glaucoma. Hydrocut also interfers with many standard prescriptions. You can overdose on hydroxycut. As such, I would conclude it is not safe.

There is a lack of evidence that hydroxycut is safe, let alone effective. If you're looking to lose weight or tone your body, try going on a diet or making frequent trips to the gym. Hydroxycut is not the best way to go.

I would talk to your doctor before starting any type of diet, etc. They know the side effects better and would know your background and all.
