Is it safe to use Neosporin on my snack that was just bitten by a hamster, or is there something better to use?

It is safe to use Neosporin or any antibacterial in a small quantity on your snake. Clean the bite well before applying lightly. Mostly these bites heal up quickly.

It's funny that the hamster was quick enough to bite your snake. But in response to your question: Neosporin is the common medicine recommended for treating animal bites. Another highly recommended ointment would be Bacitracin--a medicine that is recommended for topical usage rather than oral use. Note that any triple antibiotic ointment can be used for your snake.

Yes ,it is safe to use Neosporin on the wounds of the snack ,but beware dont,t use too much because the snack may lick the powder and it is bad because the Neosporine contains Bacitracyn neomycine and polymyxin B as the ingrediants and these are antibiotics which kill the bacterias on the wounds.

Neosporin ointment can be used, but call a vet if it looks infected. Try switching to pre-frozen food - it is actually better for your snake and more humane.

It is absolutely safe to use neosporin. But for future use, please keep your hamster away from your snake. You don't want your snake to go through the pain again.

Neosporin is safe to use on anything. But the best thing you can do is take your serpant to the vet and make sure there was nothing on the teeth of the hampster that will harm it.

Neosporin is an antiseptic and is safe to use on your pet snake when they have a small cut to help keep out an infection.

Neosporin should be safe to use on your snake but make sure that you clean the area really well and wrap the area with gauze after you put the neosporin on. I would also suggest taking your snake to the vet to make sure that it didn't get rabbies from the hamster
