Honda antifreeze is not different from other antifreeze however if you are going to add antifreeze you should ensure to not mix brands of antifreeze so as to avoid mixing.

Although each manufacturer has their own brand of antifreeze that they claim works best with their models, antifreeze is pretty interchangeable. Most people are focused on price more than anything else. You can go into Wal Mart and see gallons of antifreeze ranging from $7 to more than $30. I always go with the cheap stuff.
