The first place to look is the tank that its in, the seal and piles that lead to it and the cap. Keep pets away from anti-freeze it kills,

You first need to locate exactly were the leak is coming from. Try putting down some paper to see where its coming from. You could also use a leak detector dye. You want to check the hoses, water pump, radiator and heater core first. A cracked head or block could be the issue. It may just be a gasket.

If your Chevy is leaking antifreeze you can go to any auto part store and go to the antifreeze section. you will find a bottled chemical for stopping antifreeze leaks. you pour this into your radiator and the leak is plugged up.

It could be any number of things. Most commonly a cracked radiator, bad hose, or a broken water pump are the cause. Others may include blown headgasket, or bad reservoir.

You might want to invest in a leak detector kit if your really desperate. Some of the more common places leaks occur are the radiator, the hoses, the water pump, and the freeze plugs. A good tip is to lay cardboard under the car and let it set to get an idea of the general area to check.

have a leaking coolant hose that runs from the block under the AC comp, then behind the engine and down to the left exhaust manifold. It has no hose clamps and appears to be metal wrapped with thermal protection. What is it and how hard is it for shadetree guy to replace.
