I've seen many cats in labor over the years but I never noticed any of them having diarrhea beforehand. Of course it could signal that the kittens have "dropped" and will be coming soon. Signs of labor can include panting, crying out in distress, not wanting to leave your side, laying down and straining.

diarrhea can happen anytime during a cats pregnancy, but it is common that when i cat goes into labor and begins to push that its bowels may evacuate due to the pushing much like in humans.

If your pregnant cat has diarrhea, the cat should be taken to a veterinarian as the cat may be ill. Normal signs of labor in a cat include nesting, a drop in temperature, restlessness and panting six to twenty-four hours prior to delivery.

A cat's pregnancy comes to term in two months so if the cat has carried her kittens for that amount of time and she starts having diarrhea that's a sure sign that the kittens have moved into position, labor has started and the kittens are ready to make their debut shortly.

I suppose it can be a sign but it would be within a couple of hours, could be something the cat ate, like milk soft cat food.

Diarrhea is not typically a sign of labor in cats as a mother cat will usually stop eating in the 24 hours before giving birth.

Just like humans that is possible, caused mostly from upset nerves. However, it is not something that you can count on happening for sure.

Diarrhea is not a normal sign of labor in a cat. Cats will normally stop eating 24 hours in advance to giving birth. Nesting and vaginal discharge are the normal first signs so if this happens labour is not far to follow. Check with your vet to get the correct dosage for Imodium to give your cat to relieve discomfort.

Honestly it depends on the type of cat you have and it also depends on your medical history for your cat. Well, from what I hear there are other signs to such as a blood or not being able to pee. You have to take your cat to a vet and find out.

This does not tend to be a sign in cats. More reliable signs are the hunting for a place to birth, gathering rags, and hard breathing.

When a mother cat has diarrhea it is a sign they are about to have kittens, or it could be that they just ate somthing bad. If problem consists take your cat to the Vet. The vet might be able to give medication.
