Most edible rat and insect posion are toxic to all living things. If you could not eat it, don't leave it where your pets can. Read the label to confirm.

Yes! Decon is very toxic to animals and almost always results in death. The rat poison acts as an anticoagulant, causing the blood not to clot. Any bruising, lacerations, and simple trauma may result in blood loss and possible death.

Decon can be very poisonous to dogs, I suggest you don't use it. If you have a problem with infestation then I suggest an exterminator, or place the decon in area's where the dog will not get to it ( ex: the basement, shed, bedrooms.). Sticky traps would work better.
