Is body building safe for teens?

I think my son is too young to be lifting.

It can be, as long as he has a good coach, eats well, and take proper precautions in the weight room. He should focus on correct form over heavy weights.

As long as he goes about lifting in the appropriate manner, then he will be fine. There are specific weight lifting plans that are designed for teens and the way their body works, as a teens muscles are much younger than someone in their 30's who has been lifting long.

Body building is safe for teens - up to a certain extent. Too much weight lifting is bad for the body, however, keeping ones body in shape is good.

Body building is safe for teens but it depends on how old your child is. If he has experienced his growth spurt then its okay. Otherwise, leave it.
